About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant (Reporting) to lead financial reporting, ensure statutory compliance, manage a team of accountants, and coordinate with clients and audit partners. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Exim-related compliances, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Team Management

a. Lead and manage a team of accountants.

b. Allocate tasks to team members and review their work for accuracy and compliance.

c. Guide the team on complex accounting and compliance matters.

Client & Audit Coordination

a. Act as a primary point of contact for clients for accounting, compliance, and reporting queries.

b. Work closely with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

c. Ensure timely submission of data, schedules, and reconciliations.

Compliance Management

a. Handle end-to-end compliance for GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Exim operations.

b. Oversee monthly and annual filings including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS returns, Income Tax returns, and other statutory submissions.

c. Manage GST and Income Tax assessments, replies, documentation, and audit representation.

Monthly Financial Reporting

a. Prepare and review Monthly MIS, financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports.

b. Ensure accurate ledger scrutiny, reconciliation, and timely month-end closure.

c. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

Assessments & Regulatory Management

a. Independently handle GST, Income Tax, and TDS assessments.

b. Prepare responses to departmental notices, queries, and audit observations.

c. Maintain proper documentation and compliance records.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com with strong hands-on experience.

4+ years of experience in accounting, reporting & statutory compliance.

Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Export/Import operations (IDPMS/EDPMS).

Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and business workflow tools.

Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.

***Practical experience and skill set is preferred
