Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Full Time Consultant Cardiologist to join our Cardiology Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases and disorders while providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with heart and vascular conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG, Echocardiograms, TMT, Holter monitoring, and angiography.
  • Conduct interventional cardiology procedures (where applicable).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultations for cardiology cases.
  • Guide preventive cardiology programs and patient education.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior doctors, residents, and clinical staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology and apply them in clinical practice.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS with MD (General Medicine) and DM/DNB (Cardiology) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Tamil Nadu.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Consultant Cardiologist (fresh DM/DNB graduates with strong clinical exposure may also apply).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a hospital environment.
