Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Senior Backend Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems powering Graycommit's AI-driven platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing scalable backend architecture, coding robust and efficient APIs, optimizing backend performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including front-end developers and product teams. The role also involves ensuring the security and stability of backend systems through regular testing, debugging, and upgrades.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building scalable systems.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general programming concepts.
  • Understanding of Front-End Development processes for seamless integration and collaboration with front-end teams.
  • Experience with database technologies, API design, and cloud services is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a bonus.
  • Previous experience in a senior engineering role, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or AI-driven company, is highly desirable.
