Role Description

This is a Freelance Sound Designer gig. The Sound Designer will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality audio assets, including sound effects, background music, and foley for our math-based gaming platform. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the production team to develop engaging soundscapes, designing unique audio elements to enhance the gaming experience, and ensuring seamless audio integration. The role requires a creative mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing user experiences through sound.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Sound Design, including creating and implementing original audio assets.
  • Proficiency in Music Production and Audio Editing to create high-quality and engaging soundscapes.
  • Experience in Foley techniques and the ability to produce authentic environmental sounds.
  • Knowledge and skills in composing or working with Music to support gaming and interactive experiences is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align audio design with the project's creative vision.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines are essential.
  • Prior experience in the gaming or e-learning industry is a plus.
