Role Description:

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will work closely with our data science team on projects related to data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and visualization. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical experience and strengthen their data science skill set by contributing to impactful projects across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing
  • Explore datasets using statistical techniques and data visualization tools
  • Support the development of machine learning models and algorithms
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and trends
  • Work with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.
  • Assist in interpreting model results and communicating insights clearly
  • Collaborate with team members to support data-driven decision-making
  • Document findings, processes, and methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setup
  • Good communication skills to explain technical concepts in simple terms
  • Eagerness to learn, experiment, and adapt to new tools and techniques
