Talent Formula is a consulting firm that offers outsourced financial and accounting talent to Chartered Accounting firms worldwide. We are currently hiring for PKF Littlejohn, one of the UK's largest accounting firms . PKF is looking for Audit Juniors for their Business Services as well as Financial Services team for pilot Audit Global Delivery Service (GDS) unit.

What skills will you need to be effective in this role?

Purpose and aim of job

• To ensure all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with the firms procedures.

• To be responsible for the day-to-day operation of each audit assignment

Job duties and responsibilities

• Understand client background, sector, and regulatory environment to support performance of relevant assurance procedures.
• Understand UK-specific and internationally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards, including reporting requirements.
• Executing audit procedures on the areas assigned to you under the guidance of UK team.
• Accept responsibility for all work performed.
• Attend pre-audit discussions with partner and manager.
• Document clearly and accurately the execution of assurance procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, and planned assurance approach as per the PKF audit methodology.
• Accurately identifying problems, exceptions and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept updated on these items.
• Proactively reach out to teams soliciting real time feedback for work performed and take appropriate action.
• Show commitment in progressing within the Firm.
• Highlight risk areas through regular interactions with UK teams.
• Be responsible for allocated tasks on a portfolio of clients.
• Ensure that the work undertaken on each audit is completed in accordance with the approved plan and budget.
• Suggest logical solutions to problems.
• Effectively communicate with the client and manager in a timely manner.
• Complete appraisals and feedback forms in accordance with the firms procedures.

Who we are looking for:

• Fully Qualified CA with 3 years Articleship.

• Approximately 1 year experience post Articleship in Statutory Audit.

• Good statutory auditing knowledge

• Excellent communication skills

• Can-do attitude with a desire to learn.
