Hiring, Diploma Engineers who are willing to work in Inspection and Quality department with a Heavy Metal Fabrication Company in Bangalore Rural. Good communication skills in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day quality inspection activities in fabrication and assembly areas.
  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of fabricated components as per drawings and standards.
  • Verify welding quality, material thickness, surface finish, and alignment during fabrication.
  • Maintain and update inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
  • Support the implementation of quality standards (ISO / ASME / relevant standards).
  • Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues on the shop floor.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action for non-conformances.
  • Monitor use of calibrated measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Welding Gauges, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, machining, assembly).
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and measuring instruments.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T basics, and tolerances.
  • Knowledge of basic quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, AWS preferred).
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a shop-floor environment.
