Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive experienced in MS Pipes and Hollow Sections sales through GeM portal, OEM channels, and government project approvals. The position will be based at our Gurgaon office and will focus on strengthening RST's business network across Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate and execute sales for MS Pipes, ERW Pipes, and Hollow Sections across North India.
Identify and develop new business through OEMs, EPC contractors, project buyers, and government departments.
Build strong relationships with fabricators, distributors, and government engineers.
Achieve regional sales targets and ensure consistent growth.
GeM Portal & Tendering
Manage product listings, bid participation, and tender follow-ups on GeM Portal.
Ensure compliance with technical and commercial tender requirements.
Coordinate internally for pricing, documentation, and order processing.
OEM & Project Sales
Engage with OEM and EPC companies for project-based requirements.
Obtain product approvals in government departments and PSUs.
Monitor ongoing and upcoming infrastructure, solar, and water projects.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
Execute marketing strategies, digital campaigns, and client outreach programs for RST brand promotion.
Represent the company in trade fairs, exhibitions, and vendor development programs.
Conduct competitor analysis and identify emerging opportunities.
Reporting & Coordination
Submit weekly and monthly sales reports with lead updates and conversion tracking.
Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth execution and timely payment realization.
Candidate Profile
Education: Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or MBA (Marketing).
Experience: 3–7 years in sales of MS Pipes / Hollow Sections / Steel Structures.
Skills Required:
Hands-on experience in GeM portal sales and tender participation.
Strong connect with OEMs, EPCs, and government departments.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel across North India.
