Job Description: Project Manager - Civil (Highway Project)

Location: Ludhiana (NHAI Project)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution of highway infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and specifications.
  • Oversee planning, monitoring, and execution of construction activities for roads, bridges, retaining walls, and related works.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and consulting teams to ensure project designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and operational procedures.
  • Manage project documentation, including NH documentation and reporting to the Head Office.
  • Coordinate with Authority Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors for smooth project execution.
  • Procure resources (manpower, materials, equipment) and negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • Monitor progress, prepare and present reports, and resolve critical issues.
  • Supervise workforce, ensuring proper resource allocation and task completion.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for road projects.
  • Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during construction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in highway/civil construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NHAI standards, road safety, and construction processes.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
