Job Title : Procure to Pay Lead, APMEA

Reporting to: Director Finance, Shared Services Delivery

Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai

Purpose of the Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced P2P Tower Lead to manage and lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations within our Shared Services environment. The role demands a strong leader with a solid background in shared services finance operations, who can drive process excellence, ensure compliance, and lead a high-performing team to meet service delivery objectives.

  • Hands-on experience in Dynamics AX/D365 (mandate)

Main assignments:

Operational Leadership:

  • Lead end-to-end P2P operations including vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, invoice validation, payments, and vendor query management.
  • Manage service delivery with high standards of accuracy, TAT, and compliance with SLAs and KPIs across APMEA geography.
  • Monitor and resolve operational escalations with root-cause analysis and preventive measures.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for business units, regional finance teams, and procurement functions.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between business stakeholders, category managers, and vendors to ensure smooth P2P processes.
  • Partner with upstream (Procurement) and downstream (Accounts Payable, Treasury, Finance) teams for seamless process hand-offs.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and policy compliance.
  • Drive standardization and harmonization of P2P processes in alignment with global policies and local statutory requirements.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of P2P professionals; drive performance, upskilling, and engagement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the P2P tower, focused on service orientation and continuous improvement.

Transformation & Projects:

  • Champion process optimization, automation (RPA, AI tools), and technology adoption to improve efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints.
  • Collaborate on global P2P transformation initiatives, ERP enhancements, and migration projects.
  • Drive process documentation, training, and knowledge management across the team.

Person Specification:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay operations, with at least 10 years in a Shared Services environment. Proven experience managing teams in a multi-process or multi-client Shared Services setup.
  • Strong knowledge of P2P processes, ERP systems (Dynamics AX/D365), and P2P automation tools.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOX and internal controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience driving process improvements and automation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.
  • Strong exposure to international regions (APMEA/NORAM).
  • Deep understanding of P2P lifecycle, including procurement policy, invoice-to-pay process, and vendor management, reconciliations.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing large-sized teams. (~100 FTEs)
  • Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma practices (certification preferred).
