OfficerAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Legal Officer to manage and oversee all legal affairs of the company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling litigation, legal documentation, drafting agreements, and coordinating with external legal authorities. The role involves both in-office legal management and field visits to courts and government departments.
Key Responsibilities· Handle all legal affairs of the company including corporate, civil, and administrative matters.
· Represent the company in litigation cases, liaise with advocates, and ensure timely filings and compliance with legal procedures.
· Manage departmental legal matters related to regulatory bodies and government departments.
· Draft, review, and vet legal documents, agreements, contracts, and MOUs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Provide legal advice and guidance to management on various business and operational matters.
· Ensure that all contracts and agreements are legally sound and protect the company's interests.
· Maintain and update records of ongoing cases, hearings, and documentation.
· Conduct visits to courts, tribunals, and legal offices as required.
· Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants, and regulatory authorities for smooth resolution of matters.
· Stay up to date with legal developments, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements affecting the company.
Proposed Role Expansion· Legal drafting and documentation for all types of corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
· Implementation of standardized legal processes and templates to ensure consistency and compliance.
· Providing support in company-wide policy formulation and contract management systems.
Eligibility CriteriaEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in legal affairs, litigation, and documentation, preferably in a corporate environment.
Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of corporate and civil law.
• Excellent drafting, vetting, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to represent the organization independently before legal authorities.
CompensationSalary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
