Role & responsibilities :-

  • Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
  • Implement motion control solutions including servo drives, multi-axis synchronization, cam profiles, and motion sequencing.
  • Develop and integrate machine vision applications for inspection, orientation, measurement, barcode/OCR, reading, and quality assurance.
  • Design, configure, and maintain HMI and SCADA screens with alarms, diagnostics, trends, and recipe management.
  • Execute on-site machine installation, commissioning, testing, and validation activities including FAT and SAT.
  • Provide technical support, customer training, and assistance during machine trials and production ramp-up.
  • Analyze and resolve automation and control system issues to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
  • Interface with sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, and electrical control panels.
  • This role requires travel to client sites as per project and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as control logic descriptions, I/O lists, wiring updates, and service report.

Preferred candidate profile :-

  • Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
  • Sound knowledge of motion control systems including servo configuration, tuning, and multi-axis applications.
  • Working and understanding of machine vision concepts such as pattern matching, measurements, defect detection, and code reading.
  • Experience in developing intuitive and operator-friendly HMI/SCADA applications.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols including Ethernet-based networks, Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and RS-485.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and I/O diagrams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and a professional, customer-oriented approach.
