SQL Developer Roles & Responsibilities (PostgreSQL + AWS):

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries
  • Write efficient and reusable SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures for PostgreSQL databases.
  • Database design and maintenance
  • Design, implement, and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views based on application needs.
  • Data migration and transformation
  • Handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) between systems using PostgreSQL tools and AWS services.
  • Performance tuning and optimization
  • Monitor and optimize database performance using indexing, query tuning, and analyzing query execution plans.
  • Ensure data security and integrity
  • Apply best practices for data security, access controls, and backup/recovery strategies, particularly in cloud environments.
  • Work with AWS cloud services
  • Use AWS services like RDS (PostgreSQL), S3, Lambda, and Glue for data management and automation tasks.
  • Collaboration and documentation
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and DevOps teams; maintain proper documentation of database systems and queries.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,900,000.00 per year
