  • Bartender Responsibilities:Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations on drinks and food pairings.
  • Check identification to confirm legal drinking age before serving alcohol.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and utensils.
  • Prepare garnishes, mixers, and restock inventory as needed.
  • Operate cash registers, manage tabs, and process payments accurately.
  • Monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene responsibly if needed.
  • Engage and build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits.
  • Collaborate with bar staff and kitchen for smooth service flow.
  • Follow food safety, health, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Senior Bartender Responsibilities (Includes all Bartender duties plus):Lead and supervise junior bartenders and bar staff during shifts.
  • Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing wastage.
  • Develop cocktail menus and train staff on recipes and mixology techniques.
  • Handle complex customer service situations and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist in opening and closing the bar, including cash handling and daily reconciliations.
  • Ensure bar policies and safety standards are rigorously followed.
  • Provide mentorship and ongoing staff development.
  • Coordinate bar events, promotions, and special orders.

Senior Bartenders typically have greater accountability for bar operations, team leadership, and quality control while continuing to maintain high service standards as frontline staff.
