Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of continental cuisine, be able to prepare and present dishes with consistency, and ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook continental dishes as per menu and recipes.
  • Assist in menu planning and developing new dishes.
  • Ensure quality, taste, and presentation of all food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor inventory and assist in stock management.
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Continental Cook/Commis Chef in a hotel or restaurant.
  • Good knowledge of European/continental cooking methods and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
