Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef – Continental to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will play a key role in menu planning, supervising staff, and maintaining quality and hygiene in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing continental menus and recipes.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize wastage.
  • Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
  • Support in developing new dishes and seasonal menu items.
  • Handle guest feedback in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in continental cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of European/continental cooking techniques and trends.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
