Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA ABAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in custom development, enhancements, and integration within the S/4HANA ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern ABAP programming paradigms, CDS views, OData services, and Fiori enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize custom ABAP programs, enhancements, user exits, and BADIs in S/4HANA.
  • Build and expose CDS views, AMDP procedures, and OData services for Fiori/UI5 applications.
  • Collaborate with functional teams (MM, SD, FI, PP) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to Clean Core principles.
  • Support data migration, interface development, and integration with non-SAP systems via IDocs, RFCs, and APIs.
  • Document technical specifications and provide post-go-live support and hypercare.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in ABAP development, with at least 2+ years in S/4HANA.
  • Proficiency in ABAP on HANA, including CDS views, AMDP, and Eclipse-based development.
  • Experience in OData service creation, Fiori app integration, and RESTful ABAP programming.
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, API Management, or Event Mesh is a plus.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Gateway, and SAP Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of SAP Clean Core and extensibility models.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps pipelines.
