Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Commerce or related field

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Assistant cum Accounts Assistant to manage store operations and assist in site-level accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in construction site store management and basic accounts handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of material inward & outward at the site store.
  • Verify and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and quality standards.
  • Issue materials to site engineers/labourers as per requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise indent requests in advance to avoid shortages.
  • Ensure proper storage, stacking, and security of materials at the site.

Accounts & Documentation:

  • Assist in preparing daily and monthly site expense statements.
  • Record material consumption and support reconciliation with accounts.
  • Maintain petty cash records and vouchers at the site.
  • Assist in vendor bill checking and submission for approval.
  • Coordinate with HO accounts for timely reporting and compliance.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of store and accounts records.
  • Support audits (internal & external) with required store and accounts data.
  • Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and vendors.
  • Follow company policies on inventory control, accounting, and compliance.

Skills Required:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience at a construction site.
  • Knowledge of store management, material handling, and accounting basics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally (preferred).
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and coordination ability.
