Your work profile

Your main responsibilities will be:

You will support our clients as they improve agility, resiliency and identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our client's journey towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Desired qualifications

• Technology graduation (Engg. / MCA) + MBA Degree is mandatory
• Overall 3-6 years of relevant consulting or BFSI industry experience across any of the following areas
• 3+ years of experience as a cloud architect or similar role
• Experience in formulating IT / digital / technology strategy covering following area:

o Baseline and assessment of IT landscape covering applications, infrastructure, security and processes

o Target state recommendation formulation and gap analysis

o Application profiling and portfolio rationalization

o Creation and review of cloud architectures

o IT operating model assessment

o Cloud COE Design and Setup

o Target IT roadmap formulation with prioritization of strategic initiatives

• Experience in Cloud solutions (IaaS/PaaS/Big Data and Analytics) strategy for mid or large size organizations (this includes public / private clouds - on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or VMWare)

Preferred:

• Experience in developing and implementing a comprehensive cloud strategy, roadmap, and architecture that aligns with the organization's business goals and drivers. This includes selecting appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), designing cloud environments, and migrating applications, data, and workloads to the cloud.
• Experience in defining and implementing cloud standards, guidelines, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Experience in leading architectural reviews in the cloud domain. Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with on-premise infrastructure and applications.
• Experience in documenting and presenting cloud architectures, decisions, and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in collaborating with data and application architects to design and implement cloud-based analytics, data lake, and storage platforms to help improve Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence capabilities for the business; Security and compliance teams to ensure that the cloud environment is secure and compliant
• Experience in recommending application cloud migration dispositions (rehost, re-platform, refactor, replace, retire) based on technical and business requirements
• Experience in developing business case and TCO analysis drawing tangible connections between cloud strategy and business-valued financial-success metrics
• Experience defining and implementing governance and restructuring IT departments to optimally manage cloud environments and cloud-native applications
• Experience in reviewing and optimizing cloud-based usage and spending post initial cloud deployments
• Experience with architecting, designing, implementing, or operating IT systems on leading commercial Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google
• Technology understanding of large and complex IT systems in an enterprise environment using virtualization or private Cloud technologies, backup, replication, disaster recovery and high availability, DevOps, API management solutions and their role across enabling an enterprise cloud
• Public Cloud Architect Certification(s) (AWS, MS Azure, GCP)
• Comfortable presenting to and delivering projects for senior leaders at organizations (e.g., Sr. Directors, Vice Presidents)
• Ability to work with a multi-location team spread across global regions
