We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager-Financial Risk & Credit Evaluation to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial risk assessment, credit analysis, and a proven track record of managing credit portfolios.

This role is crucial for our continued growth and stability, as you'll be responsible for evaluating and mitigating financial risks associated with our loan products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessment & Credit Evaluation: Conduct in-depth financial risk assessments of loan applicants by meticulously evaluating financial documents, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and bank statements.
  • Credit Line & CIBIL Assessment: Accurately assess credit lines and access CIBIL ratings to determine the creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
  • You'll use this data to make informed decisions on loan approvals.
  • Report & MIS Analysis: Analyze various financial reports, including credit bureau reports, company profiles, and market data, to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate MIS (Management Information System) documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process efficiencies, including leveraging technology for streamlined evaluation processes, to enhance our ability to assess risk and make timely decisions.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all credit evaluation and risk assessment processes comply with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain meticulous and organized records of all assessments and decisions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and operations teams to facilitate a smooth loan application process, providing clear and concise feedback on credit decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: A degree in Chartered Accountancy (CA), MBA in Finance, or a Post Graduate in Finance & Credit Domain is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of financial statements, ratios, and risk analysis techniques.
  • Experience with credit risk software and financial modeling is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex financial information clearly.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to document evaluation and data analysis.
