Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our Pune team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of proven experience in selling special equipment for surface treatment, rust prevention, coating, or fluid dispensing, especially in the automotive sector. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial and automotive production processes, along with excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and engineering companies.
- Promote and sell VR Coatings dispensing, coating, and surface treatment equipment.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring long-term business relationships.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical & commercial presentations to demonstrate the value of VR Coatings products.
- Achieve sales targets through effective planning, prospecting, and market coverage.
- Conduct negotiations, prepare quotations, and close deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, service, and production) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with automotive manufacturing trends, competitors, and dispensing technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
- 46 years of experience in sales of industrial/special equipment, preferably in automotive dispensing, surface treatment, or coating equipment industry.
- Proven track record of sales to automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and engineering companies.
- Strong technical understanding with ability to explain equipment solutions effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively.
