Key Result Area:

  • Ensuring machine more than 97% machine uptime & zero breakdown.

  • Ensuring 100% adherence to machine preventive & calibration schedules.

  • Ensuring zero downtime of machine due to non- availability of spares.

  • Implementation & Adherence to IMS, Safety & HK Standards & Processes.

  • Implementing Kaizen & Improvement Projects to machine downtime & maintenance cost.

Job Profile:

  • Must have very good maintenance knowledge of CNC machines, Conventional machines, Mechanical & Hydraulic presses.

  • Attending all EAM calls & closing the calls in system in timely manner along with proper analysis.

  • Incumbent will be responsible analyzing the root cause of failure & implementing the corrective action through kaizens, to prevent recurrence of problem in future.

  • Carrying out timely preventive maintenance of allotted machines as per schedule.

  • Updating PM sheet to include learnings from machine breakdowns to prevent recurrence of same issues.

  • Checking machine levelling & machine geometry as per schedule.

  • Planning & carrying out level & geometry correction, if required.

  • Maintaining inventory of spares to ensure timely availability of spares for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance & time-based maintenance.

  • Ordering new spares & following up with Purchase for spares & repairs.

  • Carryout kaizens to improve service life of equipment & spares.

  • Identify & execute improvement projects to reduce machine downtime including time required for PM & to reduce maintenance cost including consumables, spares & energy cost.

  • Identifying & eliminating safety hazards on machine & utilities. Also, incumbent shall be responsible for uploading safety hazards & near miss in system.
