Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and edit CNC programs using CAM software or manual G-code programming.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines (Milling / Turning / VMC) as per job requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
  • Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient machining.
  • Conduct first-off inspection and make necessary program or tool adjustments.
  • Ensure components are machined within specified tolerances and surface finish requirements.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues during operation.
  • Maintain proper documentation of programs, tool lists, setup sheets, and inspection reports.
  • Perform regular machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness of the workstation.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and adhere to quality management procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Minimum 25 years of experience in CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Proficiency in G-code programming and familiarity with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Edgecam, etc.).
  • Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Syntec CNC controllers.
  • Good understanding of tooling, materials, and machining parameters.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in CNC VMC / HMC / Turning Centers.
  • Exposure to precision component manufacturing or tool-room environment.
  • Knowledge of fixture design and process optimization.
