Job Title: Purchase and Order

Department: Procurement/Supply Chain

Reports to: Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

The Purchase and Order Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, maintaining supplier relationships, and tracking inventory levels. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills to meet the company's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Management:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
  1. Order Coordination:
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to delays, quality discrepancies, or damaged goods.
  • Maintain communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  1. Inventory and Documentation:
  • Track inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
  • Assist in stock reconciliation and audits.
  1. Cost Control:
  • Analyze and manage procurement budgets.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  1. Compliance and Policies:
  • Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Update procurement procedures and standards as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Fresher

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
