Position Summary

Level: Consultant or equivalent

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you'll do:

Support SAP PLM implementations by applying industry best practices, focusing on BOM, Change Control, Document and Material Management, and Quality processes. Develop specifications, offer technical solutions, and assist with system configuration and data migration. Work with CAD and PLM tools, and contribute to SAP ABAP development, forms, and workflows. Collaborate across product teams, ensuring project fulfillment, and leverage strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to deliver value in product development projects.

The Enterprise Performance team leverages deep industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and practical approaches to address clients' toughest business challenges. Our professionals as part of the Supply Chain Network Operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance focus on helping organizations achieve sustainable competitive advantage throughout their operations, spanning product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. We excel at translating strategic objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes at the operational level. By aligning high-level goals with frontline execution, we ensure our clients realize real value and improved performance across every stage of their supply chain and operations.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 3 - 6 years of industry experience
• Collaborate with project teams to implement best practices within SAP PLM environments
• Drive strategic solution decisions for processes, including BOM management, Change Control, Document and Material Management, Quality Management, Specification Management, Program and Project Management
• Develop functional and technical design specifications, ensuring fulfillment and traceability to project requirements
• Provide technical workarounds to address gaps in application or functional requirements
• Bring expertise in detailed design and analysis, using CAD, simulation, and PLM tools, and working collaboratively across product development functions and lifecycles
• Configure SAP ECTR to facilitate integration between SolidWorks CAD and SAP
• Configure SAP PLM objects and support data migration using SAP EHS OCC Tool and LSMW
• Possess experience in SAP DMS, Engineering Change Management (ECM), SAP Classification, SAP MM, BOM Management, SAP Specification Management, Variant Configuration, and SAP EHS
• Demonstrate proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Creo
• Apply hands-on skills as an SAP ABAP application developer, utilizing ABAP/4 language for reports, development workbench, data dictionary, dialog programming, debugging, BODS, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, WebDynpro, enhancements, and file interfaces
• Develop forms and reports; leverage expertise in BAPIs, user exits, and workflow configuration
  Exhibit strong oral and written communication (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint), client engagement, team-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Experience in SAP PLM, ideally in semiconductors, consumer care, life sciences, or pharma
• Knowledge of SAP DMS, ECM, Classification, MM, BOM Management, Specification Management, Variant Configuration and EHS
• Support teams by verifying configuration/customization in Dev/QA throughout project phases
• Skilled in configuring/customizing PLM systems per solution design documents
• Define and document technical requirements; migrate legacy data into PLM
• Integrate PLM with external sources like SolidWorks CAD and SAP
• Develop test plans, cases, conduct functional/user acceptance testing, and resolve issues.
• Involved in at least 4 full-cycle PLM implementations

Education:

• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Tech degree or equivalent from accredited university

Location:

• Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Kolkata

Shift Timings:

• 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
