Position: Quality Control

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections on Assemblies, wiring harnesses, and mechanical components during various stages of manufacturing. FG machines need to be test as per specification.
  • Verify compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), IPC-A-610, and internal specifications.
  • Perform customer inspections and validations, prepare documentation, and address any quality concerns raised during customer visits or audits.
  • Use 7 QC tools effectively for root cause analysis and continuous improvement:
  • Monitor critical control points and provide real-time quality feedback to production teams.
  • Document and report non-conformities, initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and verify their implementation.
  • Work closely with the QA and Engineering teams on failure analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Train production staff on quality standards, ESD precautions, soldering & crimping techniques, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Support and prepare for internal audits, customer audits, and external certifications (ISO 9001 etc.).
  • Maintain inspection reports, calibration records, and quality metrics dashboards.

Skills

  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610, and ESD compliance.
  • Proficient in reading schematics, BOMs, Wiring diagrams and process documentation.
  • Hands-on experience using multimeters, Oscilloscopes, LCR meters and other QC equipment.
  • Skilled in applying 7 QC tools for analysis and improvement.
  • Experience in handling customer inspections and audit queries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
