Position: Quality Assurance Engineer / Executive

Experience: 2–3 Years

Location: Umbergaon-Vapi

Department: Quality

Reports To: QA/QC Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a QA Engineer/Executive with 2–3 years of experience to oversee quality checks

of incoming materials from vendors. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of

fabrication standards and mechanical inspection methods relevant to an OEM environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect incoming materials and components as per drawings and specifications.

· Review and verify material test certificates, dimensional reports, and documentation.

· Maintain inspection records and prepare NCRs for deviations or rejections.

· Coordinate with vendors on quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.

· Assist in vendor evaluation based on quality performance.

· Support implementation of QA procedures and continuous improvement practices.

· Participate in internal audits and compliance activities.

Skills & Requirements:

· Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and inspection instruments.

· Familiarity with welding standards, fabrication processes, and materials like SS/MS.

· Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP documentation.

· Strong attention to detail with problem-solving ability.

· Effective communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
