Qualification: BE/BTech Civil

Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in RE Wall construction and other civil works(Preference: Candidates with landfill or industrial project experience)

Role Overview

The Quality Manager will be responsible for site-level quality monitoring, assurance, and compliance across multiple civil works, including RE Wall construction, RCC tanks, G+2 building, general civil works, and PEB dismantling/erection. The role involves stage-wise quality checks, witnessing tests, reviewing documentation, and ensuring that all works comply with client specifications, SOPs, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities

1. RCC Tanks (UG & OH)

2. Verify excavation line, level and depth against drawings.

3. Ensure subgrade compaction ≥95% MDD (IS 2720 Part 28).
4. Check PCC thickness, shuttering quality, reinforcement cover (25–40 mm) and embedment.
5. Witness concreting process – slump, cube tests, batch records, vibration/compaction.

6. Monitor curing (7–14 days), hydro testing for leakages and installation of access covers/ladders.

7. G+2 Building Works

8. Foundation depth, alignment and safe bearing capacity checks.

9. Superstructure: reinforcement as per BBS, shuttering alignment, curing records.
10. Masonry: mortar ratio, curing, alignment, lintel levels.
11. Finishing: plaster, flooring slope/level, doors/windows alignment.

12. MEP coordination – verify conduits before plastering and pressure testing of services.

13. RE Wall Construction

14. Monitor levelling pad concrete grade & alignment.

15. Check panel verticality, alignment and spacing.
16. Inspect geogrid make, overlap and tensioning.
17. Verify backfill compaction (≥95% MDD) and moisture at OMC.

18. Confirm drainage provisions (weep holes, geotextile, stone filters).

19. General Civil Works

20. Earthwork excavation depth/slope and filling compaction (≥95% MDD).

21. Concrete works: slump & cube tests, reinforcement checks.
22. Masonry: mortar mix, alignment and safety of scaffolding.

23. Roads & drainage: sub-base compaction, camber, slope and kerb/manhole alignment.

24. PEB Shed (Dismantling & Erection)

25. Dismantling: safety plan, sequence compliance, tagging/storage of reusable materials.

26. Post dismantling: clean foundations and check anchor bolts.
27. New PEB erection: anchor bolt verticality (±3 mm), torque tests, member alignment, sheeting overlaps, sealant application, final finishing (flashings, gutters, ridge line).

Quality Assurance & Testing Duties

• Review and approve all material test certificates (Steel, Concrete, Rebar, Geogrid).
• Witness random third-party lab testing: aggregates, concrete, soil and cube compressive strength.
• Monitor RMC plant process and output for compliance with approved design mix.
• Ensure documentation of pour cards, BBS, FDT/PLT reports, QA/QC checklists, DPRs and TPI reports.
• Highlight abnormal findings and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintain photographic and inspection records for client submission.

Skilles Required -

• Hands-on expertise in RE Wall construction QA/QC.
• Knowledge of RCC, RMC, masonry and industrial building construction.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with SOP-driven quality management systems.
• Proactive problemsolving and communication skills.
• Should have good communication skills.
• Should be able to communicate in Hindi, English, Telugu
