GW Sports App is Hyderabad's very own platform for booking sports venues, helping sports fanatics, teams, and fitness enthusiasts find and reserve the perfect space for their passion. We are a bootstrapped small business looking for a Digital Engagement & Community Lead to own our online presence and drive meaningful user interaction.

Key Resposibilities:

You will be the voice of GW Sports App across all digital channels, responsible for strategy, execution, and analysis in the following core areas:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a high-impact social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin, etc.).
  • Create compelling, sport-centric, and localized content to build brand awareness and drive bookings.
  • Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments/messages, and manage online reputation proactively.

Search and Local Presence (SEO/GMB):

  • Execute Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
  • Manage and optimize the Google My Business (GMB) profile for all listed venues to maximize local search visibility and drive direct calls/bookings.

User Engagement & Communication:

  • Design and execute targeted WhatsApp Broadcast campaigns to inform users about new venues, exclusive offers, and local sports events.
  • Manage and optimize Push Notification strategies to re-engage dormant users and promote time-sensitive deals.
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns focused on retention, promotions, and feature announcements.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key digital marketing metrics (reach, engagement, conversion rates) across all channels.
  • Use data-driven insights to constantly refine and improve engagement strategies.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience (2-3 years preferred) in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, or Community Engagement, ideally within the sports, fitness, or tech/app industry.
  • Expert knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective advertising/analytics tools.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google My Business (GMB).
  • Demonstrated ability to write compelling, clear, and action-oriented marketing copy.
  • Experience with user engagement platforms (e.g., WhatsApp Business API, push notification services, email marketing tools).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for sports and the Hyderabad local sports ecosystem is a massive advantage.
