Position: Part-Time Accountant

Location: Sector 92, Noida

Working Hours: Only Saturdays 10 AM to 6 PM

Compensation: per month

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support our business with timely and structured reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who prefers flexible working hours while contributing to a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain and update accounting ledgers and journals.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts).
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry and ledger management.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow summaries.
  • Support in budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Share weekly or fortnightly financial MIS as required.

3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Manage GST working, reconciliation, and return preparation.
  • Assist with TDS calculations, payments, and return filing preparation.
  • Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills, and statutory records.

4. Payables & Receivables

  • Track vendor payments, outstanding dues, and credit cycles.
  • Follow up with customers for receivables and update ageing reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and online payment gateways.

5. Audit Support

  • Prepare necessary schedules and documentation for internal/external audits.
  • Coordinate with auditors and respond to queries.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, basic formulas).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience working with startups or small businesses.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in a part-time setup.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
