Job Summary:

The CCTV & Network Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV cameras, networking systems, and related security equipment across the school campus. The role ensures the safety and security of the institution through proper surveillance system management and reliable network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related hardware.
  • Monitor and ensure all cameras and recording systems are functioning efficiently.
  • Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of CCTV equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues related to surveillance systems.
  • Set up and manage LAN/WAN connections and ensure smooth network operations across the school.
  • Manage cabling (LAN, fiber, and coaxial) and ensure proper labeling and organization.
  • Maintain access control systems, video storage backups, and security footage logs.
  • Coordinate with the IT department for integration of CCTV and school network systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and data protection guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience (1–3 years) in CCTV installation and network management.
  • Strong knowledge of IP cameras, DVR/NVR configuration, and network cabling.
  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Attention to detail, good communication, and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance/IT team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, or similar CCTV brands.
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi setup, routers, and switches.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and security practices.

Work Hours:

As per school schedule; occasional weekend or after-hours support if needed.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
