Job Summary The CCTV Network Technician will be responsible for the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV cameras networking systems and related security equipment across the school campus The role ensures the safety and security of the institution through proper surveillance system management and reliable network infrastructure Key Responsibilities Install configure and maintain CCTV cameras DVR NVR systems and related hardware Monitor and ensure all cameras and recording systems are functioning efficiently Perform routine inspection cleaning and maintenance of CCTV equipment Troubleshoot hardware software and network connectivity issues related to surveillance systems Set up and manage LAN WAN connections and ensure smooth network operations across the school Manage cabling LAN fiber and coaxial and ensure proper labeling and organization Maintain access control systems video storage backups and security footage logs Coordinate with the IT department for integration of CCTV and school network systems Prepare regular reports on system performance incidents and maintenance work Ensure compliance with safety privacy and data protection guidelines Qualifications and Skills Diploma ITI Degree in Electronics Computer Science or related field Proven experience 1-3 years in CCTV installation and network management Strong knowledge of IP cameras DVR NVR configuration and network cabling Understanding of networking protocols TCP IP DHCP etc Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently Attention to detail good communication and record-keeping skills Ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance IT team Preferred Skills Experience with Hikvision CP Plus Dahua or similar CCTV brands Knowledge of Wi-Fi setup routers and switches Basic understanding of computer networking and security practices Work Hours As per school schedule occasional weekend or after-hours support if needed Job Type Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
