  1. He/She should study properly the BOQ and Drawings.

  2. He/She should co-relate each activity with BOQ & should sort out extra items if any.

  3. If any extra items found, it should be informed to BE (Project )

  4. Collect the required data in co-ordination with PE&SE ( Update on the format) & submit to BE (Project)

  5. QS shall ensure the specification of items mention in BOQ with the items executed at site.

  6. QS should take joint measurement with PE and subcontractor and the same should be recorded in the sub with material contractors register of BE (Projects) and a copy of the bill should be filed in the sub with material contractors bill file of BE (Projects) and submit to BE (Sub Contracts )for processing payment

  7. Qs should visit the site with surveyor while taking survey and the survey documents should be kept with QS.

  8. QS shall visit the sites as per the visit schedule prepared by BE (Projects ).

  9. QS should co-ordinate with client Er./PE for taking RA Bill measurements

  10. QS should record joint measurements in JMR sheet or M Book& get approval from client Er/PE on the same day itself.

  11. QS should collect all documents from execution team for bill submission as insisted by client .

  12. In order to avoid the delay in bills QS should take measurements in advance for extra work,excavation & all RCC items before concreting & get approval by client/PE.

  13. QS should cross verify the RA Bill quantity with labor plus material bill register and machinery DPR.

  14. QS should ensure that previous unbilled quantity is billed in current bill.

  15. QS should collect the invoice copy of the steel and cement received at site and submit to BE (Projects )for secured advance

  16. QS should submit the RA bills to BE (Projects ) as per bill schedule

  17. While submitting Client Bill at HO QS shall submit the RA Bill checklist, RA Bill colour code, subcontractor bills, material reconciliation report, steel reconciliation report including site stock of idle steel, site stock scrap steel & stock report etc., Unbilled quantities at site with colour code and measurement sheet.1. He/She should study properly the BOQ and Drawings.
