Job Overview

We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven STORE MANAGER to lead and boost sales performance for our large-format retail store. You'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies across a wide range of products, including sofas, decor, carpets, wallpapers, crockery,and other home furnishing items. This role demands a strong leader who can drive sales initiatives, foster exceptional customer relationships, analyze market trends, and ensure we hit our ambitious sales targets within their designated area.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase store sales and profitability while maintaining excellent standards.
  • Lead, train, and manage store staff to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available and manage replenishment for high-demand products.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies and best practices.
  • Analyze financial data to forecast sales, manage budgets, and report on store performance to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA in Marketing is a plus.
  • 10-12 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within large-format retail.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales operations, merchandising principles, and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
