Job Title: Supervisor / Incharge - Stores

Job Location: Injambakkam, Chennai

Age Limit: 30 to 40 years
- To ensure that all material is available in sufficient quantity at all the times and there is zero production loss due to the non-availability of material.
- Need to receive the goods as per PO & take the custody of material & acknowledge the delivery challan after conducting physical verification. To check items received as per specifications/ po's issued and accept / reject material accordingly.
- Prepare SOP and ensure it is strictly adhered to. Receive, issue, and maintain all goods i.e. raw materials, finished goods, in-process items, ensuring proper authorization and documentation
- Generate GRN (Goods Receipt Note) for the material receipt, Returnable/ Non Returnable Challan etc. & MIN (Material Issue Note) for the material issued to the labour contractor.
- The same need to be posted/updated & maintained in the Stock register or System Software.
- Prepare DRMR (Daily report of Material received) for MIS.
- Prepare & maintain Stock Transfer notes in case of any material transfer to other site locations.
- Manage/arrange inventory at storeroom i.e. space management etc.
- Should conduct audit periodically to verify the physical stock as per stock register.
- Receive the bills on-site, attach requisite documents and submit a weekly report of bills received
- Responsible for Inward and Outward Material and safe keeping of all stock.
- Should know re-order level process
- Maintaining record of stores in computer pertaining to WIP, Consumables, Finished Goods, Raw Material and Production etc.
- Raising indents/ requisition slip etc and distribution of material according to documents.
- Manage/ Booking of material in transports
- Maintaining the stores by bin card system and excel
- Physical stock tally every month and make stores/ stock details ready in every month 1st week. Should have capability of stock analysis and reporting
- Inspect/ maintain physical condition of the storage area, materials and equipment and ensure utmost cleanliness in the Department
- To ensure that the material is accepted along with requisite documents; as per standards and quality requirements.
- To maintain records strictly as per norms and procedures
- To keep a up-to-date record of stock items and ensure no excess or shortage of material.
- To keep a check on supply of material in stipulated time period.
- Responsible for preparing of documents/work related to items for dispatch to customers
- Work within the company's policies, objectives.
- Controlling wastage of material
- Scrap Management
- Implement 5S in Stores

Experience: 8 years and above in Manufacturing Industry

Software: Good knowledge in SAP
Qualification: Diploma / BE- Mechanical

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
