We are now looking for a Senior Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team - someone who lives and breathes social media, understands trends before they go viral, and can transform strategy into engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute effective social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Create and curate high-quality, engaging content (text, visuals, reels, and videos) that aligns with brand and campaign objectives.
- Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and optimize campaigns based on data insights.
- Manage online communities — respond to comments, messages, and engage proactively with audiences.
- Stay updated with emerging social media trends, tools, and platform algorithms.
- Work closely with internal design, SEO, and content teams to ensure cohesive brand communication.
- Plan and manage paid social campaigns, including ad budgets and performance tracking.
- Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to keep GBIM's strategies ahead of the curve.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field will be plus point
- 2–3 years of proven experience in a Social Media Specialist/Executive role, preferably in a digital agency environment.
- Strong understanding of all major social platforms and content best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
- Basic graphic design and video editing knowledge (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for performance insights and creative optimization.
