Position: Plant HR Manager

Role Summary:

The Plant HR Manager acts as the strategic and operational HR leader within a manufacturing facility. This role bridges the gap between corporate HR policies and plant-level execution, ensuring compliance, workforce efficiency, and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition

  • Forecast manpower needs based on production schedules

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce ramp-up

  • Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the liaison between management and labor

  • Resolve grievances, promote morale, and manage disciplinary actions

  • Compliance & Industrial Relations

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety codes, and union practices

  • Prepare documentation for collective bargaining and labor audits

  • Performance & Development

  • Implement performance management systems

  • Coordinate training programs and skill development initiatives

  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and leave management

  • Support salary planning and wage negotiations

  • Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Drive safety programs and wellness initiatives

  • Investigate workplace incidents and manage return-to-work processes

  • HR Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain HRIS systems and employee records
  • Generate reports for management and track HR KPIs
