Position: Plant HR Manager
Role Summary:
The Plant HR Manager acts as the strategic and operational HR leader within a manufacturing facility. This role bridges the gap between corporate HR policies and plant-level execution, ensuring compliance, workforce efficiency, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
Forecast manpower needs based on production schedules
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce ramp-up
Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as the liaison between management and labor
Resolve grievances, promote morale, and manage disciplinary actions
Compliance & Industrial Relations
Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety codes, and union practices
Prepare documentation for collective bargaining and labor audits
Performance & Development
Implement performance management systems
Coordinate training programs and skill development initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and leave management
Support salary planning and wage negotiations
Health, Safety & Welfare
Drive safety programs and wellness initiatives
Investigate workplace incidents and manage return-to-work processes
HR Operations & Reporting
- Maintain HRIS systems and employee records
- Generate reports for management and track HR KPIs
