Job Title: Finance BPO Operations Lead

Location: Pune, Chennai, Kochi

Role Summary:

Finance BPO Operations Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end Procure-to- Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP\&A) operations within a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency across procurement, payment, order management, cash application, and financial planning processes. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, manage client relationships, and lead teams to deliver high-quality service aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities: Procure-to-Pay (P2P):

  • Oversee end-to-end P2P processes including procurement, invoice processing, vendor management, and payment operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement P2P strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports for leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams for ERP system enhancements and automation.
  • Manage escalations and resolve issues related to procurement and payments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization.
    Order-to-Cash (O2C):
  • Manage end-to-end O2C processes including order management, billing, collections, and cash application.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Monitor credit risk and implement effective collection strategies.
  • Optimize working capital through efficient cash flow management.
  • Drive automation and process improvements in O2C workflows.
  • Handle client escalations and ensure adherence to SLAs.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP\&A):

  • Lead FP\&A operations including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide insights on financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with business units to align financial plans with organizational objectives.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of management reports and dashboards.

Leadership & Client Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of P2P, O2C, and FP\&A professionals.
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure service delivery meets SLAs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations and governance meetings.
  • Drive operational excellence through best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in P2P, O2C, and FP\&A operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within BPO/shared services in 24/7 operations
  • Strong understanding of procurement, order-to-cash, finance processes, and FP\&A methodologies.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial planning tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
