Job Purpose
The IT Outsourcing Manager will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT outsourcing engagements, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and strategic objectives.
- The role involves vendor management, contract governance, risk mitigation, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of outsourced IT service
Duties and Responsibilities
- 1) Identify, evaluate, and onboard IT vendors in line with business needs and compliance requirements.
- 2) Manage vendor relationships, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
- 3) Ensure vendors meet SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations
- 4) Maintain a centralized repository of outsourcing contracts and documentation.
- 5) Ensure compliance with RBI Master Directions on IT Outsourcing and other applicable regulations.
- 6) Support periodic reviews and audits of outsourcing arrangements.
- 7) Conduct risk assessments and due diligence for new and existing vendors.
- 8) Monitor outsourcing risks including data security, business continuity, and operational resilience.
- 9) Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- 10) Coordinate with IT, InfoSec, and business teams to ensure effective delivery of outsourced services.
- 11) Track and report outsourcing metrics to senior management.
- 12) Prepare reports for internal governance forums and regulatory submissions.
- 13) Maintain audit trails and support internal/external audits
- 12) Drive continuous improvement in outsourcing processes and vendor performance
Key Decisions / Dimensions
- Ensure compliance with RBI and SEBI guidelines related to IT outsourcing in the NBFC sector Co-ordinate with Vendor & Internal stake holders
- Monitor and assess third-party/vendor risk and performance
Major Challenges
- Strong understanding of RBI/SEBI outsourcing guidelines and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in handling audits and regulatory inspections.
Required Qualifications and Experience
a)Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in IT, Law, Finance, or related field.
- 5€"8 years of experience in IT compliance, preferably in NBFC or BFSI sector.
- Work Experience
- Strong technical knowledge of given domains, ability to stay up to date with latest technologies
- Highly motivated, self-starter, Agile, Quick Learner
- Excellent oral and written communication, analytical skills, clarity of thoughts
- Demonstrated success & achievement orientation
- Monitoring & controlling delivery plan with software development partner (end to end).
