Experience Required: 20+ Years

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Masters degree preferred)

Reporting To: Managing Director / COO

Position Overview

The VP – Operations (North Region) will lead the end-to-end project operations, execution, and delivery for multiple large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects in the northern region. The role requires a strong leader with proven experience in project management, business operations, client handling, and cross-functional team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

  • Oversee complete project lifecycle — from planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, to final handover.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of industrial construction projects (warehouses, factories, process plants, etc.).
  • Establish regional KPIs and monitor performance against business objectives.
  • Drive operational excellence through standardization, best practices, and process improvement.

2. Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead multiple project teams across various sites in the North region.
  • Ensure adherence to design, quality, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor project schedules, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Review progress reports and conduct regular site visits for on-ground assessment.

3. Strategic Planning

  • Develop regional business plans aligned with corporate growth goals.
  • Forecast manpower, material, and equipment needs.
  • Support business development by evaluating project feasibility, costing, and tendering inputs.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Resolve project issues proactively, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Support business expansion through repeat and referral projects.

5. Team Leadership

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers, engineers, and site personnel.
  • Build, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

6. Financial & Commercial Oversight

  • Monitor budgets, cash flow, and profitability of regional projects.
  • Ensure strict control over project costs and contractual compliance.
  • Review vendor performance and optimize procurement and subcontracting strategies.
