Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Manager- MERA Operations, you will be responsible for the design and execution of MERA systems and processes. You will play a key role in developing the annual operation plan in coordination with the MERA thematic plans. Additionally, you will support the standardization of key terms and definitions, develop checklists and flow diagrams, and build the business case for systems and processes. Your success in this role will ensure the smooth operations of MERA.

  7. Capacity Building: Provide training and capacity-building support to staff members involved in MERA activities. Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization.
  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including program managers, donors, beneficiaries, and partners, to ensure alignment of MERA activities with organizational goals and objectives.
  9. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that MERA processes and methodologies are robust, reliable, and adhere to established standards.
  10. Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for MERA activities. Monitor expenditures and ensure efficient use of resources.
  11. Advisory Role: Provide recommendations and insights based on MERA findings to guide decision-making, program design, and strategy development.
  12. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to MERA activities and develop mitigation strategies.
The role of an Assistant Manager in MERA Operations requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Candidate Qualifications:

Master's degree in Management/ Operations/ Social Science/ Social work or other relevant disciplines is required. You should have at least 5+ years of experience in setting up systems and processes, writing process notes, and making operational plans. Prior experience in successfully executing large-scale system and process operations is also necessary.
