Experience Required: 12+ years, with at least 5 years in a leadership HR role in manufacturing
Job Summary:
The HR Head will lead the human resources function across all manufacturing units, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution capability, with a deep understanding of labor laws, compliance, union handling, and workforce management in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Management:
o Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the companys objectives.
o Drive culture-building initiatives and change management processes.
Talent Acquisition & Retention:
o Oversee end-to-end recruitment for plant and corporate roles.
o Design employee retention strategies and career progression frameworks.
Industrial Relations & Compliance:
o Manage labor relations, including negotiations with trade unions.
o Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory compliance across all locations.
Performance Management & Training:
o Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems (KPI/OKR-based).
o Identify training needs and manage skill development programs.
HR Operations & Policies:
o Establish and monitor HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
o Supervise payroll, employee benefits, and HRMS systems.
Employee Engagement & Welfare:
o Foster a positive work environment through structured employee engagement initiatives.
o Ensure workplace safety, grievance redressal mechanisms, and welfare schemes.
Qualifications:
MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute
Strong knowledge of labor laws and manufacturing HR best practices
Proven experience in leading HR in unionized environments
Proficiency in HRMS, MS Excel, and HR analytics tools
