Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Allica Bank Full time ₹ 12,00,000 - ₹ 36,00,000 per year

About Allica Bank
Allica is the UK's fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.

Department Description
The Digital Operations tribe is responsible for building customer and staff applications for customer onboarding, in-life management and delivering bank-wide applications for internal reuse.

More specifically, this includes the ownership, maintenance and development of:

  • End to end customer onboarding experience across multiple channels
  • Customer facing onboarding applications for the bank's product range
  • Staff facing 'assisted' onboarding applications for the bank's product range
  • Adherence to the bank's compliance and regulatory requirements in respect of customer onboarding and in life management
  • Customer data management applications
  • Third party relationships that act as enablers for key policy delivery
  • The bank's case management application for the automation and drive efficiency improvements to operational procedures
  • Customer data of existing customers to ensure that all customer profiles adhere to the correct compliance standards
  • Applications that improve customer profile consistency such as centralised document management and customer communication platforms
  • Complaints management application

Allica employs agile methodologies in its prioritisation, analysis and delivery of solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and each squad within the tribe is responsible for a 'Single Thread' of work and delivers end to end solutions across multiple applications across the bank that may or may not be owned by the 'home' tribe.

Role Description
The Product Analyst will play a pivotal role at the intersection of data, AI, and product delivery, shaping Allica Bank's next-generation digital experiences for SMEs. You'll gather and translate complex requirements into clear, data-informed insights for the Senior Product Owner and Head of Digital Operations, then collaborate with our agile development team to bring them to life.

You will be both a data storyteller and a technical innovator, using Large Language Models (LLMs), data pipelines, and automation tools to uncover insights, accelerate analysis, and visualise complex findings. Leveraging AI-assisted analytics and visualisation platforms (including vibe coding and generative visual systems), you'll turn data and unstructured information into meaningful, action-ready outputs.

Your mission is to champion the customer experience within the Digital Operations Tribe, developing deep empathy for users, mapping their journeys, and ensuring that every product iteration delivers measurable improvement to SME customers.

You'll help shape the roadmap, prioritise enhancements, support sprint delivery, and provide data-backed validation that features are ready for production through UAT and performance analysis. Ultimately, you'll build intelligent, automated, and insight-rich systems that enable the bank to move with speed, precision, and creativity in a highly competitive SME market.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our digital products, customer behaviour, and business objectives - translating these into measurable, data-informed decisions
  • Collect, clean, and analyse data using SQL, Python, R, and AI/LLM-based tools to surface key insights and opportunities
  • Document business requirements in an articulate manner, utilising bank tools for product governance and implementation
  • Use Large Language Models (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) to:
  • automate exploratory data analysis and summarisation
  • generate dashboards, narrative reports and data driven visuals
  • synthesise user feedback, requirements and research artefacts into actionable insights
  • Apply AI-powered visualisation tools (such as vibe coding tools) to transform findings into intuitive, interactive visuals
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure insights are embedded early in the product lifecycle and supported by sound data instrumentation
  • Build and maintain analytics frameworks, experiments, and A/B testing pipelines to measure feature performance and validate hypotheses
  • Create automated reporting and alerting systems using low-code or AI-assisted tools for faster, real-time product monitoring, where necessary to provide benefits of delivered solutions
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders using compelling, data-backed stories, enhanced by LLM-generated narratives and visuals, where appropriate
  • Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to validate data integrity and ensure production readiness
  • Monitor post delivery metrics and engagement channels to ensure deliverables continue to operate problem free

Personal Attributes & Experience
Technical & Analytical:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R)
  • Experience with LLMs and AI-enhanced workflows, such as using ChatGPT, Copilot, or Google Gemini for data interpretation, documentation, and storytelling
  • Skilled in data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Observable) and comfortable integrating AI-generated visuals into reporting
  • Understanding of data pipelines, event tracking, APIs, and experimentation frameworks

Product & Strategic Thinking

  • Strong understanding of how data insights drive product and business outcomes
  • Ability to define, test, and measure success metrics for product initiatives
  • Curiosity for emerging technologies, particularly AI, automation, and low-code tools that improve analytical workflows.

Communication & Storytelling

  • Excellent communicator: able to distil technical findings into engaging narratives supported by visuals and AI-generated summaries, where appropriate
  • Experience presenting to diverse audiences and influencing product decisions through data-led storytelling

Mindset

  • Innovative: Keen to experiment with AI tools to enhance productivity and insight generation
  • Collaborative: Works effectively within agile squads and cross-functional teams
  • Customer-focused: Obsessed with simplifying complex experiences for SME customers
  • Driven & Curious: Always seeking new techniques, technologies, and approaches to make data work harder and smarter.
