Job Description - Assistant Brand Manager

Brand Manager would be responsible for driving the execution of all Brand Marketing operations across paid, earned and owned channels. In addition, she/he will also assist in the design and delivery of brand and marketing communication.

Individual Contribution 60%

  • Understand the segment and cross-functional marketing requirements, brief internal/external creative teams and ensure timely delivery of collaterals.
  • Assist in driving the brand narratives across offline, digital and social media platforms for building awareness, preference and trust.
  • Assist in developing an annual brand calendar, manage budgets and track expenditures.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of media campaigns regularly and share reports.
  • Ensure adherence of brand guidelines across all touchpoints.
  • Assist in tracking the brand health scores through research.
  • Design mechanisms to gain and disseminate consumer insights to relevant Stakeholders.
  • Map competition on product offerings/features, advertising and marketing initiatives and share the actionable insights with internal stakeholders to derive inspiration.

Program Management 40%

  • Plan, coordinate and timely execute all strategic and tactical campaigns for marketing as well as other cross-functional teams.
  • Work with media partners to promote and optimise brand content across traditional and digital media.
  • Actively manage the Social Media Channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) with help from internal teams and/or external agencies.
  • Be the point of contact for all external parties in the domain - agencies, vendors, freelancers, media, etc.

Required Skill Sets:

  • 3 to 5 yrs of experience and passion for marketing communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset with analytical skills.

Academic qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent
