Territory Business Manager
Purpose: Achieve sales target and product placement-on-ground targets in the assigned territory through managing a team of Market Development Officers (MDOs).
Key responsibilities:
- Achieve Primary and Secondary Sales Targets and build advocacy for our company.
- Responsible for creating Primary Orders from Distributors and generating Secondary Demand from Retailers.
- Responsible for converting in-active and new distributors into active ones through trade activities.
- Responsible for sharing Season-to-date results with Regional Business Manager for review.
- Responsible for promotional activities through Farmer events and Field Demonstrations.
- Participate in Review-cum planning meetings with MDOs and Regional Managers.
- Coach the MDOs through On-the-job Training.
Tasks:
- Conduct scheduled calls to Distributors, Retailers and Nurseries and also accompany MDOs in their calls/ visits.
- Visit Distributors to make sales order, collect payments and gather information on competitor's placement.
- Select the plots for promotional activities like Crop Shows, Field Day, Farmer events etc. and organize them with the help of MDOs.
