Role & responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions on Azure.
  • Leverage knowledge of AWS and GCP for multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments as needed.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Troubleshoot cloud network, system, and security issues across various platforms.
  • Manage Linux-based systems, including updates, performance tuning, and securing servers.
  • Configure and administer DNS, Active Directory, and related Internet services in cloud and on-premises contexts.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security controls, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor cloud environments, optimize usage, and recommend improvements for cost, performance, and reliability.

Create comprehensive documentation and mentor junior engineers in cloud best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldor equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud solutions.
  • Working knowledge of AWS and GCP, with ability to compare services/functions across platforms.
  • Strong experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Sound understanding of Internet technologies, CDN,DNS, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Proficient with Active Directory management and integration in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices(WAF), IAM concepts, data protection, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or relevant alternatives).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog).

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude for learning new technologies.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
