Assistant Manager

  • Operating system : Linux, Windows, Unix (5-9 yrs exp)
  • Expertise in Installing and Troubleshooting RHEL/Windows /Solaris
  • Should have experience in Filesystem management, Logical Volume Management, Software management (package, patches), cluster, system recovery etc.
  • Deep knowledge of TR069 Protocol and Database Management.
  • Should have knowledge of Performance tuning, Server / OS Crash analysis,
  • Extensive experience with NFS/Samba, Patching, LVM.
  • Good understanding of DNS, LDAP, SSH, HTTP, JBOSS, TCP/IP, and other common network protocols.
  • Should have Strong Knowledge of Monitoring various Linux components like disk space, CPU, SWAP, and process along with performance monitoring tool
  • Advise and consult with vendors on risk assessment, threat modeling and fixing vulnerabilities.
  • Operating System Design document creation including Storage details/allocation with all required IP details along with the Architecture diagram).
  • Deploy the Virtual Machines.
  • Application specific failover/back scripts for HA configuration
  • Software Installation and Configuration
  • Patching to meet OS & application requirement at the time of installation and post installation as and when released by OEM during the contract period within the agreed scope.
  • BMC Remedy TT Handling & servers/Application Monitoring
  • Knowledge of VMware ESX, ESXi, and VSphere 4 5 environments with vCenter Management
  • Secures web system by developing system access, monitoring, control and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups and maintaining documentation.
  • Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services and developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
  • Vmware Admin
  • Cloud environment administration and in hosted datacenter collocations,
  • Maintaining OS System security standards, host and client access and automating required audits
  • Linux System Administration with experience in storage and network troubleshooting
  • Understanding client requirements & functional specifications.
