Overview The Teamcenter Developer plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of Teamcenter software solutions within an organization. This position requires a deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, specifically Teamcenter, to enhance operational efficiency and product development workflows. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the software development lifecycle, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements aligned with business objectives. The role is essential in ensuring that the Teamcenter system is tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization, ultimately driving innovation and competitiveness in the market. In addition to coding and development responsibilities, the Teamcenter Developer will be involved in providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Teamcenter applications and workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues within the Teamcenter environment.
  • Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems and databases.
  • Provide technical support to users and resolve system-related issues.
  • Contribute to design and architecture discussions to enhance the Teamcenter framework.
  • Implement best practices for software development and system performance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems and processes.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Work in an Agile development environment to deliver iterative solutions.
  • Conduct system testing and validation before deployment.
  • Train users on Teamcenter functionalities and customizations.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest Teamcenter releases and features.
  • Provide input for future enhancements and upgrades to PLM systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Teamcenter PLM solutions.
  • Proficiency in Java and C++ programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of database management and SQL.
  • Experience with software development tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in technical documentation and user training.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
