Overview The TeamCenter Developer plays a crucial role in the development and customization of the TeamCenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platform. This position demands a strong understanding of the TeamCenter architecture and the ability to design scalable solutions to enhance product data management and streamline operations. As a TeamCenter Developer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that technical implementations align with business requirements while improving workflows and user experience. Your expertise will not only influence system performance but also enhance collaboration among teams across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams to deliver innovative solutions that support the overall business goals while adhering to industry best practices. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, with a focus on integrating various technologies to create robust PLM systems that cater to diverse organizational needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize TeamCenter PLM applications to meet user requirements.
  • Ensure integration of TeamCenter with other enterprise systems, such as ERP and CAD tools.
  • Optimize TeamCenter performance by analyzing system frontend and backend activities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to TeamCenter functionalities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Design and implement TeamCenter workflows to enhance process efficiency.
  • Perform system maintenance and upgrades to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals.
  • Conduct system tests and evaluate the results to ensure system integrity.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to implement security measures within TeamCenter.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training to keep current with TeamCenter advancements.
  • Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprints and meetings.
  • Implement data migration strategies for transitioning existing data into TeamCenter.
  • Monitor and report on key system metrics to identify improvement areas.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in TeamCenter development and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or .NET.
  • Experience with SQL and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations and web services.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and its integration with PLM systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in developing technical documentation.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering on deadlines.
