Job Summary:

The Proposal Engineer Technical will be responsible for preparing technical offers

and solution proposals for Airport Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and Logistics

Automation Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background,

hands-on experience with AutoCAD, BESD tool, and preferred to have a working

understanding of the end-to-end baggage and parcel flow processes in airport

and logistics environments.Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:


• Solution Design & Layouts:

  • Develop layout drawings and system architecture using AutoCAD

based on customer requirements.

  • Use BESD tool for configuring system components, validating

capacities, and preparing technical schematics.


• Proposal Development:

  • Prepare technical proposals including scope, system description,

drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).

  • Coordinate with internal engineering and product teams for system

customization and design validation.


• Client Interface:

  • Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and

internal sales teams to clarify and fine-tune solutions.

  • Support commercial teams during pre-sales meetings and technical

presentations.


• Technical Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed documentation including design basis, technical

clarifications, deviations, and system specifications.

  • Ensure timely submission of technically compliant and competitive

proposals.


• Process Understanding:

  • Understand and analyze customer process requirements, especially in

baggage handling at airports and intralogistics/parcel automation.

  • Provide input for optimizing the system layout and flow to meet

customer KPIs (throughput, availability, redundancy, etc.).
